Melo X 5ml Clearomizer - Eleaf

The Melo X is the large version of the Eleaf Melo range: 32 mm in diameter, 5 ml capacity, and a body made entirely of stainless steel. While the Melo 6 plays it discreet on a small box, the Melo X embraces its size and aims for performance, with EC-D dual mesh coils that deliver flavor almost instantly.

The top airflow takes up the principle that made the previous generation a success: air enters through the top of the clearomizer and comes back down through the chimney, so there is no path for liquid to escape through the base. The ring adjusts without tools and covers a wide range, from a direct mouth-to-lung draw to a restricted direct lung hit depending on the coil installed.

Filling is done from the top, the 510 drip tip is removable, and the box already contains two coils plus a spare glass. This is the clearomizer included in the iJust X Kit: if you already have the iJust X Mod alone, this is the piece that completes the set.

What is the difference with the Melo 6?
The Melo 6 is 25 mm at the base and uses EC-A coils. The Melo X is wider, 32 mm, with EC-D dual mesh coils and a fully stainless steel body. The X aims for a more airy and cloudy vape, while the 6 remains more versatile on smaller boxes.

Which box should I use with the Melo X?
Any 510 box capable of reaching 50 or 60 W. Watch out for the diameter: at 32 mm, the Melo X overhangs narrow chassis. It is made for the iJust X Mod, with which it forms the iJust X Kit, and fits well on wide boxes.

Which coils should I use?
The EC-D dual mesh ones, included in 0.3 and 0.5 ohm with the clearomizer. The 0.3 ohm is best vaped around 40 to 50 W for an airy draw, the 0.5 ohm around 25 to 35 W for a tighter hit.

Is the glass replaceable?
Yes, and a spare glass is already in the box. It is the part that breaks first on a clearomizer, having a spare from the start avoids downtime.
