Choosing and using your batteries wisely

The format (18650 or 21700) is determined by your box: check compatibility before buying. In dual battery configuration, always use two identical batteries, of the same age and charge level (married batteries), and carry them in a case: a bare battery in contact with keys or coins can short-circuit. Inspect the wrap (plastic sleeve): at the slightest tear, re-wrap or replace.
