VPrime 5ml Cartridges (X2) - Oxva

These are the replacement cartridges for the VPrime Kit by Oxva. The coil is built into the cartridge: there is nothing to screw in or replace separately, you just throw away the whole thing and start fresh. Each cartridge holds 5 ml, which is generous for a pod format.

Refilling is done from the side by sliding the plastic tab, without having to remove the cartridge from the device. Four coil resistances are available, and this choice determines your draw: from direct, airy inhalation at 0.2 ohm to tight mouth-to-lung at 0.8 ohm.

Which resistance for which draw?

• 0.2 ohm: use between 40 to 60 W for direct lung hits, with a liquid that is at least 70% VG.
• 0.4 ohm: use between 28 to 38 W for restricted direct lung hits, with at least 50% VG.
• 0.6 ohm: use between 20 to 25 W for a restricted or mouth-to-lung draw, with at least 50% VG.
• 0.8 ohm: use between 12 to 18 W for mouth-to-lung inhalation, closest to the feel of a cigarette.

Frequently asked questions

Which resistance should I choose?
The lower the resistance, the more power you need and the airier the draw. The 0.2 ohm is for direct lung hits, the 0.8 ohm for mouth-to-lung, close to the feel of a cigarette. The 0.4 and 0.6 ohm are the versatile ones and the most popular.

Do they fit the VPrime 2?
Yes. The VPrime 5 ml cartridges fit the VPrime 2. You lose the extra milliliter and the dual mesh of the 6 ml cartridges, but they work.

How long does a cartridge last?
One to two weeks depending on the liquid and power. Very sweet liquids gunk up the coil faster. Always let a new cartridge soak for five to ten minutes before your first puff, as this determines its lifespan.

What VG ratio should I use?
At least 70% VG on the 0.2 ohm, and from 50% on the 0.4 and 0.6 ohm. A liquid that is too thick on a high resistance will not feed the coil properly and can make you cough.
